Bio
I always knew I wanted to be a teacher. I grew up playing school in my mother's classroom. I am so blessed that I get to go to work and do something I truly love everyday! I love the town of Brundidge and working in the Pike County School System. I grew up right outside the city limits, but attended school in Ozark since my mother taught there. I graduated from Carroll High School in 2001. After high school I attended Troy University from 2001-2005. I was an active member of Phi Mu Sorority while in college and currently serve on the advisory council. I am married to Lawrence Johnston, a local veterinarian who owns Pike Animal Hospital in Troy. We have one beautiful and healthy little girl. We live in Brundidge. In my spare time I enjoy traveling, playing tennis, reading, watching Alabama football, and playing with our toy poodles, Lily and Hattie Mae and our Italian Greyhound, Pearl!
